Low Carbon Diet

" We make the world we live in and shape our own environment."

What I Learned
-The Low Carbon Diet Lifestyle may help to keep our environment to have less greenhouse gas.

What I did
-I followed the Low Carbon Diet lifestyle; Recycling Papers, Energy Conservation and Using Eco- Friendly appliances.

I can apply my learnings to
-My daily life to help in reducing the emission of greenhouse gas. And to have a a clean and green environment.

TRIVIA

  •  Greenhouse gases trap heat in the atmosphere makes the Earth warmer.

Rain Gauge

What I learned...
                         - that Rain Gauge is an instrument used measure precipitation in a certain amount of time. It also has two types; The MANUAL RAIN GAUGE that uses a Special kind of Meter Stick and the DIGITAL RAIN GAUGE that uses technology; displays the amount of precipitate in a screen connected to it.

What I did...
                         - I recorded the Daily Weather, Humidity, Sunrise and Sunset from The Website of PAGASA. I also recorded the daily Rain Gauge Collection.

I can apply my learning to...
-measure the the precipitation using the rain gauge. And to know what kind of rain fall it is.

I need to learn more about...
-Rain gauge. And also the rainfalls; to know the state easily.

TRIVIA:

  • Rain Gauges are use to measure the depth of precipitation that occurs over a unit area.
  • MANUAL rain gauge is usually measured by millimeters while DIGITAL rain gauge is measured by inches.
  • The Rain Gauge collection is inaccurate when winds are too strong.
